Finding your niche can be challenging! I at least tend to believe that I am good at everything. But it is hard to decide on that one thing that I do exceptionally well. I would like to think that singing is my thing, unfortunately I can't hold a note.
My other passion is writing stories or journaling. I find that I am more open with my ideas and feelings when I write it down. I am much more expressive and detailed. However when speaking to others I animated and can come off as condescending.
For me writing is a powerful outlet for my self-expression and allows me to delve deep into my ideas and emotions. I am just more comfortable writing and can articulate my point when I have the opportunity to put it on paper.
My imagination has ran wild with writing. I have travelled all over the world on paper while in reality I have only been to a few places. I am still overcoming my fear of flying. (I'll tell you about the time I took a train to Kansas City in another blog post) I imagine that we are all on the road to discovery.
I am now trying to embrace my strengths, follow my passion, and trust that I can do this and hopefully inspire other to do the same.
